Your Rights Under Florida Law

AquaSeekers is committed to transparency and compliance with Florida consumer protection laws. This policy is governed by Florida Statute 501.165 regarding automatic renewal and continuous service offers. Violations of these rules may constitute unfair trade practices under Florida law.

3-Day Cooling-Off Period

Under Florida law, you have the right to cancel any service agreement within 3 business days of signing for a full refund with no penalty or termination fee. This applies to both one-time bookings and membership subscriptions.

How to cancel: Log in to your Customer Portal at any time and click "Cancel" on your booking or membership. Refunds are processed within 10 business days.

One-Time Service Bookings

Free Cancellation — 24+ Hours Before Service

Cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled service date and receive a full refund of the amount paid.

50%

Late Cancellation — Within 24 Hours of Service

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service will receive a 50% refund. This fee covers preparation and scheduling costs.

After Service Completion

No refund is available after the cleaning service has been performed.

Note: The 3-day cooling-off period supersedes these timeframes. If you are within 3 business days of booking, you will receive a full refund regardless of the service date.

Membership Subscriptions (12-Month Agreement)

During the Initial 12-Month Term

All membership plans (Quarterly, Semi-Annual, Annual) are based on a 12-month service agreement. If you choose to cancel before completing the 12-month term, an early termination fee applies:

Early Termination Fee

$25.00 × remaining months

Example: If you cancel after 4 months, the fee would be $25 × 8 remaining months = $200.

The early termination fee will never exceed the remaining contract value.

After the 12-Month Term

After your initial 12-month commitment is fulfilled, your membership converts to a month-to-month basis. You may cancel at any time with no termination fee.

Automatic Renewal Disclosure

In compliance with Florida Statute 501.165:

1.Your membership will automatically renew on a month-to-month basis after the initial 12-month term unless you cancel.
2.You will receive written/electronic notice 30-60 days before the renewal deadline, informing you how to cancel.
3.If AquaSeekers fails to provide the required notice, the automatic renewal is void and you cannot be charged.
4.You may cancel online using the same method you used to sign up (Customer Portal).

How to Cancel

In accordance with Florida's Click-to-Cancel requirement, you may cancel your booking or membership using the same method you used to sign up — online.

Visit aquaseekers.com/portal and sign in with Facebook.

Find your booking or membership

Your active bookings and memberships are listed on your dashboard.

Click "Cancel" and confirm

You'll see the exact refund amount and any applicable fees before confirming.

Receive confirmation

You'll get an email confirmation with your cancellation details and refund information.

Refund processing: Refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically appear within 5-10 business days.
